3rd PLACE - AOBA 2004 True Black Composite 1-2year old. - a competitive class in which V was the youngest by about 6 months.
Background: V has all the makings of a great herdsire. He has wonderful fiber with a soft handle, nice crimp and dense coverage. His conformation is outstanding with medium heavy bone, broad chest and very well balanced from front to rear. Added to all this is a very stylish head. The judge at AOBA placed him second in conformation even with most of the other entries being near their second birthday and showing more growth. She even commented about his correctness and stylish head. At Michigan International Alpaca Fest, the judge said that V was the most correct in the class in front and rear and overall was the best put together package. He has already settled around 20 females and the first cria are starting to hit the ground - They look awesome!

2ND PLACE AOBA 2003
At AOBA, Regalia place second in his class to the Color Champion and the judge went back and forth between Regalia and another alpaca for Reserve color champion. She just loved the handle of his fleece at 3 years old.
2ND PLACE KENTUCKY CLASSIC 2003
2ND PLACE ILLINOIS ALPACA EXTRAVAGANZA 2002
2ND PLACE MICHIGAN INTERNATIONAL ALPACA FEST 2002
At these 3 shows, all the judges commented that the top 2 places were equally good and could reverse depending on the day. Not bad for his very small show career.
